Villarreal CF vs Athletic Club is the Saturday night game, and it should be a fun match between two teams who qualified for the Champions League last season by finishing fifth and fourth respectively. Both clubs want to return to the premier UEFA competition, so will be giving their all in this Matchday 7 fixture.
Madrid takes centre stage again for the first of Sunday’s matches, with Rayo Vallecano welcoming Sevilla FC to Vallecas. Los Franjirrojos haven’t lost at home yet this season and will hope for another strong performance in front of their own fans.
Elche CF are in action next, with the newly promoted side trying to extend their unbeaten record when RC Celta come to town.
