KCB FC is set to face Kenya Premier League side Sofapaka FC on Saturday in a pre-season friendly match at KCB Leadership Centre, Karen.
The bankers who were held to a barren draw by Zetech FC last weekend will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they face Batoto Ba Mungu.
KCB has been on imperious form in pre-season winning 17 out of the 18 friendly matches the team has played to date.
Speaking after a training session at the KCB Leadership Centre, Karen, KCB FC Assistant Coach Godfrey Oduor said: “Sofapaka is an equally good side and we look forward to an exciting match when we face them on Saturday. So far, we have been on a good run in pre-season and every coach is happy when his team registers good results.”
He also called upon the new administration to give dialogue a chance to end the current woes bedevilling Kenyan football.
“I would urge sports stakeholders to engage to ensure there is clear guidance on matters of football in the country,” added Oduor.
KCB FC will next week play another pre-season friendly as the team prepares for the start of the new season.
