KCB FC upbeat ahead of clash against Kariobangi Sharks

KCB FC has intensified its preparations for the upcoming FKF-premier league clash against Kariobangi Sharks on Saturday afternoon.

The bankers have moved to third place on the log standings after their recent 2-1 triumph over Talanta FC and have now garnered 15 points after eight matches played.

Commenting on the upcoming league clash at the KCB Leadership Center, Karen, during a training session, KCB FC Head Coach Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno said: “We have started the year on a high note winning against Gor and Talanta. As we head into this encounter, we hope that we will maintain our momentum and grab another three important points to move up the ladder.”

Zico’s side has had a rough start to the season at home matches and the gaffer has urged his troops to step up as they host Kariobangi Sharks.

“I am impressed with our away record, but we have struggled so much at home this season. I call upon my players not to take any chances against Sharks. We intend to be clinical in front of goal to register a win,” added Zico.

The bankers will on Wednesday, 18th, January 2022 face Nairobi City Stars in their mid-week encounter.
