Thousands of mourners today attended the burial of Priscah Nyabirangu (Nyaurang) Mwaroh at Ababu-Terrah residence, Magoye Beach, Port Victoria.
Priscah was fondly known as, a loving mother, partner and a career of her most adored; Terrah-Ababu Jnr, Che-Ababu Jnr, Tanya-Helena and Ababu-Terrah Namwambah.
Ababu-Terrah Namwamba in a family tribute described the late Priscah as forever a beautiful soul, a special being, a physical angel, smiling on us from heaven with that incredibly charming smile you lit our lives with.
Priscah met the love of her life Ababu- Terrah in 2003.They enjoyed a blissful union and were blessed with three amazing children Tanya- Helena in 2008, Che-Ababu Jnr ( 2010) and Terrah Ababu Jnr (2016).
In a condolence message on behalf of KENGEN Acting Managing Director, Abraham Serem, Mr James Obondo desribed the late Mwaroh who worked with the state corporation for 12 years rising to the position of Senior Administration Assistant as disciplined and team player.
In his brief sermon based on the books of Hosea and Luke, the Bishop told Christians to be humble and stop despising others.
“Despite their talents we should not cultivate the culture of revenge which should be left to God but not mankind,” he said.
Health CS Susan Wafula Nakhumicha said unity of families is under attack, echoing the Bishop’s sentiments that revenge is retrogressive.
She later delivered President William Ruto’s condolence message to the Sports and Culture CS over the loss of his wife.
Busia Governor, H.E Dr Paul Otuoma thanked President Ruto for giving Ababu opportunity to work in his government and Susan Mang’eni for the opportunity as PS SMEMs.
Leaders present included, PS MSMEs Budalangi MP Raphael Wanjala, chairman Vision 2030 John Bunyasi, former Member of the Board Kenya Cultural Centre, Kenya Academy of Sports CEO, Hellen Odhiambo, Secretary Youth Development, Raymond Odhiambo and several MCAs among others.
