The Pichichi Trophy for the highest goalscorer: Mbappé wins again
Kylian Mbappé has played in LALIGA EA SPORTS for two seasons and he has won the Pichichi Trophy, awarded to the overall top scorer, in both of those campaigns. Not since Mario Kempes in 1976/77and 1977/78 with Valencia CF has a player claimed this prize in each of his first two seasons in the competition.
The Frenchman finished with 25 total goals, which was two more than his closest challenger, Vedat Muriqi of relegated RCD Mallorca. For Mbappé, most of his goals came during an excellent first half of the season. He netted 18 times across the first 19 matchdays, then added seven more goals in an injury-riddled second half of the season to ensure he claimed the award once again.

The Zamora Trophy for the top goalkeeper: A maiden win for Joan García
Not only did Joan García win the LALIGA EA SPORTS title in his first season with FC Barcelona, but the goalkeeper also claimed the Zamora Trophy with a record of 21 goals conceded in the 30 games he played. That made for a ratio of 0.69 goals conceded per game, which was the best in the competition, ahead of the 0.88 of Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois.
This is the first Zamora Trophy of the 25-year-old’s career, and he follows in the footsteps of other great Barça shot-stoppers who have held this honour, such as Antoni Ramallets, Andoni Zubizarreta, Víctor Valdés or Marc-André ter Stegen. At such a young age, Joan García will hope to win this trophy many more times over his career.

The Zarra Trophy for the top-scoring Spaniard: Shared by Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres
The Zarra Trophy is the award for the highest-scoring Spanish player in the competition, and this year that honour is shared by FC Barcelona teammates Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres. They each finished with 16 goals to their name, more than the 15 of Real Sociedad’s Mikel Oyarzabal.
This trophy has been going since 2006, but, curiously, this is the first time it has been won by an FC Barcelona player. And, by two FC Barcelona players!
