Rayo Vallecano vs RCD Espanyol is the first fixture of Tuesday’s slate, a duel between two teams who just missed out on European qualification last term and who are determined to make it back to the continent this year. Rayo Vallecano, though, will need to solve what is currently the worst defence in the competition if they want to achieve that objective.

At 21:30 CEST on Wednesday, there are two more simultaneous fixtures, one of which sees league leaders FC Barcelona aim to keep up their 100 percent record. Los Azulgranas will host newly promoted Real Racing Club at the Spotify Camp Nou, a fixture that hasn’t taken place in LALIGA EA SPORTS since 2011/12.
At the same time, Levante UD host Athletic Club and the Valencian side are seeking their first win against the Basques since 2018, having gone 11 meetings (8L and 3D) since then without tasting victory.
Real Betis vs Getafe CF is the first of two games on Thursday, and this is always an interesting fixture in a tactical sense. Both teams won one each of their meetings last season, so it’ll be fascinating to see who comes out on top between Manuel Pellegrini and José Bordalás this time around.
